On February 17th, 2023, Wenzhou Kangning Hospital successfully completed the fourth-round accreditation process for Class III Grade A Hospitals in Zhejiang Province. Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission issued the "Notice of the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission on the Evaluation Results of the Seventh Batch of Comprehensive (Specialized) Hospitals in the Fourth Round", officially accrediting Kangning as a Class III Grade A (top-tier) Psychiatric Hospital!

Kangning was founded in 1997. It was accredited as "Class III Grade B Hospital" in the first evaluation of psychiatric hospitals in Zhejiang Province in 2006 and upgraded to a "Class III Grade A Psychiatric Hospital" in 2012.

Besides the credential of a Class III Grade A Psychiatric Hospital, Kangning is also recognized as a Key National Clinical Specialty (Psychiatry) Hospital, Zhejiang Provincial Clinical Research Center for Mental Health Disorders, Zhejiang Regional Center of the National Clinical Research Center for Mental Health Disorders, National Standardized Residency Training Base for Psychiatrists, National Clinical Trial Institutions for Drugs and Medical Devices, the Chinese Psychosomatic Medicine Integrated Diagnosis and Treatment Center, the Advanced Cognitive Impairment Diagnosis and Treatment Center, and the Brain Health and Cognitive Impairment Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment Demonstration Center.
