On February 9, Professor Tang, Wei, a chief psychiatrist with the Department of Psychiatry & Psychology of Wenzhou Kangning Hospital Group, and Professor Liu, Zhihong, a senior psychologist, embarked on their journey to Wuhan, the center of the epidemic. They were commissioned by Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission as part of the Zhejiang Provincial Medical Expert Team. This is also the first time that province of Zhejiang has organized a team of mental health experts to provide psychological crisis assistance services in the epidemic hit Wuhan area.
